Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her assist and motivation to strengthening South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) expert services during an engagement along with the company's senior managers in a strategic arranging session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the numerous social grant beneficiaries, who excelled inside the 2024 matric examinations.
From the 724 156 full-time learners who registered for your National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing 81% from the registered pupils during the training sector.
These learners attained a commendable pass rate of 86%.

Also, the Minister has asked for SASSA Performing CEO, Themba Matlou, to provide a plan that seeks to resolve the issues of payment channels in rural areas by supplying an alternative Answer for payments.
